About The Event
Join us for another Social Cinema evening, where we'll explore the incredible story of Hvaldimir, a beluga whale who escaped a secret Russian military base only to capture hearts worldwide as the "Spy Whale." This viral phenomenon offers a glimpse into the complex relationship between humans, marine life, and the mysteries of the deep. Imagine my Octopus teacher but with a Beluga whale - It's the best way for us to describe this one! Expect the usual 99p social cinema model, kicking off with a communal vegan meal at the start 6-7pm followed by the film and an audience led discussion at the end to share thoughts and perspectives. We're delighted to be partnering with Wildscreen, Save Our Seas Foundation & Surfers Against Sewage and really look forward to sharing this evening with you!

We reserve these 99p tickets for those in our community who are usually left out of these conversations due to financial reasons. These are made possible due to pay forward tickets. We won't ask any questions, if you need it use this ticket. You'll be contributing to the 99p fund with 100% of your money going towards paying film makers in creating documentaries about the stories happening near you!
